Arsenal to Lose Out on Suarez as Chelsea Step in

Arsenal to Lose Out on Suarez as Chelsea Step inArsenal want Suarez, that much we know but are they really showing serious intent to sign the Uruguayan, perhaps not. Gunners are gradually increasing bids for Liverpool star man but the reported amounts are far from what merseysiders desire for one of the best players in the world.
The new premier league season will start in just 17 days and Arsenal have not yet signed one big name player. The fans are getting desperate. Uptil now, Arsenal have lost all their major transfer targets as reported and if they lose out on Suarez, expect an unending outcry from the supporters.
For worst, reports suggest that Arsenal are to lose out on Suarez as Chelsea are planning to step in for Liverpool man if they fail to secure the signing of Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney.
The English Champions are willing to keep Rooney at all costs and are ready to reject every bid Chelsea make. If somehow United are successful in keeping the England international, looks likely, then Blues will bid for Suarez and have more chances of beating Arsenal to his signature for obvious reasons.
Adding to that, Suarez will prefer moving to Chelsea over Arsenal as well. One, Gunners have not won a single trophy in eight years, (how many times have we heard that) while Chelsea have won 2 European trophies in the last 2 years. Goes without saying where Suarez will have more chances of winning silverware.
On the other hand, Chelsea are ready to pay Rooney’s 250k a week wages, for Suarez the salary will only be around 150k a week and that should be no problem for the Blues. By all means, Suarez is better than Wayne Rooney and Chelsea have what it takes to pay the asking price of 50 odd million to secure his services, the amount that Arsenal are still reluctant to pay.
Although, for Liverpool, selling their best player to another premier league team will be a major setback but if they are to lose Suarez then the better option is to let him go to Chelsea and not Arsenal who are their direct rivals for the Champions League qualification.
If Arsenal are to sign Suarez, they must act swiftly and pay the asking price before Chelsea’s interest intensifies and the end result for gunners is another disappointment.

You know reading such articles as this really does make my blood boil, money for Arsenal is not a problem its just the likes of A.Wenger and Gazidas. Remember guys we have also a very rich Russian wanting to throw money into us but we will not allow it,money is not an issue for us its just having the ambition and commitment to drive home the deals that we are said to be interested in. The way others are buying and improving there squads i really think we are headed for the last chance saloon, unless we do something real soon we are going to be in some serious trouble.

  3. That would be a kick in the pants for Arsenal, but as for the comment about Suarez being a better player than Wayne Rooney although a few might argue Suarez is better in front of goal,Rooney’s all round game is superior to Suarez but for the benefit of those misguided few here are some stats
Suarez 2009/10 at Ajax goals 12
    Liverpool 10/11 goals 4
    11/12 goals 17
12/13 goals 30 add this to his overall game and behaviour and then compare this
    Rooney 09/10 goals 34
    10/11 goals 16
    11/12 goals 34
    12/13 goals 16

    • Mate
Suarez scored 49 goals in 2009-10 not 12
4 goals in half 2010-11 season with LFC, 12 with the other half with Ajax
17 and then 30 in the last two.
Plus he has always been world class for Uruguay while Rooney has been a flop for England in major competitions

You know guys just thinking about those stats of Suarez and Rooney throws the mind wide open, lets forget the 50/55 mil that is being quoted for Suarez and instead use that same amount of cash and try and sign both Rooney and Fellaini, now that would be much better value, what do we think.

  7. TrueRed says:

That would be typical Chelsea. Let us do all the donkey work and step in at the last minute for a player.
It happened with Cech, Mata and Hazard, and now could be Rooney and/or Suarez.

  8. deng says:

dont you people understand wenger is just plaing with the minds of the fans .
i just want this man to just resign simple like that. leave arsenal alone selfish man .what is wrong with signing players using money that does not belong to you. is that money yours?, tell me!
