Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre confirmed that the club has rejected Arsenal’s offer for their star striker Luis Suarez. Gunners have not yet offered considerable amount to convince merseysiders, even their second 35 million pounds bid is not good enough.
Worst news for Arsenal and its supporters is that according to reports, Madrid are expected to launch their first bid for the Uruguayan and are likely to include Gunners target Gonzalo Higuain in the deal as well.
The Londoners are keen on signing Higuain as well but for the time being he has been kept on hold to pursue Suarez and it seems that move is going to backfire and Arsenal may lose out on both Suarez and Higuain.
Los Blancos are reportedly ready to offer Higuain + 10 million pounds to hire the services of Liverpool star man. However, the Argentine is rated around 25 million pounds, which makes Madrid’s offer equal to Arsenal’s second 35m bid and Rodgers will surely want more for their best player.
A lot depends on Rodgers, if he prefers Sturridge for central role then he may not want Higuain and only $$$ would do. The Argentine is not as versatile as Suarez and surely not better than him all round, but his scoring stats for one of the best clubs in the world are brilliant and may tempt Liverpool to make a move.
The Reds will have no problem holding onto Luis Suarez if no club offers the value Suarez is worth. On the other hand, if they are resigned to lose him, they will prefer that he does not depart for any other premier league club.
Adding to that, Suarez does not like England either and Madrid can definitely match Arsenal when it comes to bidding war for the Uruguayan. All in all, the Spaniards will be in pole position.
Gunners will be hoping that Liverpool will ignore Higuain and not intervene or the Argentine will reject Reds for Champions league football else, the Londoners may miss out on another top transfer target as well.
Arsenal have to move swiftly from now on as things are getting more and more complicated for them.

Arsenal has only themselves to blame,trying to get Madrid to release Higuain by putting a bid in for Suarez ( Will Higuain move to Anfield,I think NOT ) But there’s words of Bayern being willing to offer SHAQIRI & £25 million for suarez’s service.So Higuain still might sign for Arsenal,but if Suarez goes to Bayern I can see Higuain staying in Madrid.
There are 2 possibilities. Real may be trying the same trick as they did with Owen. Offering an on-form Morientes plus 10m for Owen. When accepted, personal terms agreed, Real claims Morientes was not available. Liverpool eventually settled for a reserve team player Nunez. This time round, I think Real could be using Higuain as bait while sneaking him off to Arsenal. This way, Liverpool lose big time, thats why they have been insisting on straight cash deal with dealing with Real.
The second possibility, is that the swap deal is seriously considered. I do not share the same optimism as our fellow Arsenal fans. Higuain, Iturbe and Aguero have more than once stated that they are Liverpool fans. I wish that will not happen, but i admit it will be difficult to rejecta club that you support, despite having no CL.

I couldn’t agree more arsenal have them selves to blame as an arsenal fan I am sick of Ivan opening up his mouth we have money to spent we can buy Wayne Rooney and look nothing you just make yourself look like a complete fool. My guess arsenal are not going to win anything this year and wont be in champion league next year. They have them selves to blame look at Julio Cesar we could have got him Clemet garner, fellaini, and now higuian , Suarez and jovetic those targets we should have a least acquired 3 of those 6 targets there’s still time but nothing will happen no big names will come so that’s why arse wont win anything and wont be in champions league.
I feel madrid offer for suarez is far better and preferable to that of arsenal
I plead with all arsenal fans to calm, because wenger always makes his transfer policy scretly. By he mst have completed all his signing and them of media interference.
