Media Gone Nuts – Liverpool Striker now a Mercenary

Media Gone Nuts - What Andy Carroll Really WantsMedia have gone completely nuts as far as Andy Carroll’s transfer saga is concerned. The only believable aspect is that Liverpool and West Ham have agreed a deal for the British record signing but no one has any clear idea about what Andy Carroll really wants.
Over the past few days, we have seen altering views of the Big Geordie as portrayed by “media” and everyone is unsure where he actually wants to be and why. The transfer saga is getting annoying to say the least.
The only known fact is perhaps that West Ham are eager to hire him for next season while Liverpool want to offload the Engand international, gather more funds and reinforce the squad.

28th May

It was reported that Carroll does not want West Ham stay and looks to return to Liverpool and fight for his place in the starting lineup. Knowing that Liverpool do not really need him, the news was kind of a transfer setback for the reds as they can benefit from the $$$ coming from his sale.
With very low chances of him getting regular first team football at Liverpool, certain views were that he is only returning because none can afford his 90k a week salary or perhaps he was trying to engineer a move to Newcastle.

2nd June

Reports suggested that all the parties are satisfied and sooner rather than later Andy Carroll will complete his permanent transfer to Westham United. The news  provided major transfer boost for the reds. Little did anyone know what was to follow after just 2 days

4th June

Now, the very recent news suggests that Carroll has turned into a mercenary, claiming that the only way he is going to accept a move to Big Sam’s side is if they can offer him 100k pounds a week in wages. Else they can forget about him.
He performed really well in the second half of the season and Allardyce wants to build his team around Carroll but they cannot afford paying the mentioned sum, can they?
In any case, one can expect another story coming up shortly and the saga may take a new turn.  Whatever Carroll wants, only he would know better. Whether or not he will be a Liverpool player next season, we shall have the answer soon.

    How appropriate.
I am ready to beleive that the 28 and 4th june stories are correct. He is a mercenery cause if he cared about his England place in WC then by now a a deal would have happened

  2. phil says:

West Ham need to turn attentions to Jordan Rhodes who is more prolific

  3. Brian says:

Rhodes for me all day long. Works hard, come from lower leagues and proven goalscorer. Wants it more than Carroll who is more than likely going to turn out as the next Dean Ashton…when he gets injured….he stays injured for months!!! Rhodes and Hall up front for me with Lee on the bench!

  4. Danno says:

This despicable Lanky Lazy Donkey, who hasn’t an ounce of skill in his body ( IS A DISGRACE TO HIS FAMILY )
A Disgrace to West Ham,who have treated him Superbly over his loan time. This Lanky Disgrace is only trying to engineer a way back to Relegation threatened Newcastle. But there is no way Liverpool will let this Disgraceful Mercenary return to that Scum of a club, while still under contract at Anfield…ROT IN THE RESERVES CHUMP 😉 EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT YOUR LIKE NOW,It’s going to be impossible to go out in Merseyside now lanky tw*t…

    • Cou says:

That lanky tw*t would kick your nitwit ar$e all over the shop Dean the d’bag. Go away you sad troll. Not a Liverpool supporter.

      • Danno says:

id smash him and you to pieces idiot, come to Liverpool and see.Or better still I’ll even come too you ;-(

  5. Jonha says:

Looks like Carroll has ruined any chance of going to West Ham. He is just a mercenary trying to hold the Hammers to ransom, look else where West Ham. Bring back Morrison & the other young hungry players we have on loan also Rhodes, Carroll don’t bother coming back, us West Ham fans don’t won’t you.

  6. phil says:

West Ham being the mugs that they are will pay this geordie waster his money and it’ll be the ruin of our great club. If anyone out there has ANY sort of INFLUENCE at WEST HAM tell them to dump this waster and bring in a player who is hungry and not just playing for the cash

  7. Cou says:

Actually…all of this is silly paper talk. The whole time he has been on holiday in Florida and the media have been making up story after story about Andy because they don’t have anything better to write about.

    • Danno says:

The Donkey is a Mercenary,he’s injured all the time ( He can’t run, without falling over his own feet ) ( He has Zero Skill ) West Ham must truely be NUTS to PAY him wages of £100,000 A WEEK.How many games in a season will he truely play ( Maybe 25 league games & Score about 5 to 8 ) I’m Disgusted CLOWN FOOLGLISH paid £35 Million ( And I am a Liverpool fan from Old Swan lpool )

  8. Stupot says:

Some people really are watching different games to that of the majority of west ham fans. Danno, this ‘lazy donkey’? (Probably in the league for work ethic as Noble) is far from lazy. He plays hard every game and shows he wants to win. Did you actually watch the performance against Fulham ? The whole team played with an energy and passion not seen at upton park for years, this was brought on by carrols presence!
Carroll will be a good addition to the team and, injurys permitting, will get us much needed goals!

  9. Willastall says:

I think he’s just desperate to hold onto his reds career! We all moan about mercenaries but here’s a player who would give an arm to play for us and we’re pushing him out the door. I understand the dilemma for BR but it’s a shame.

  10. Tony Hammer says:

Cou has got it spot on. We have no idea what Andy Carroll wants either as a next club nor his wages. This is purely paper talk to make headlines
Nothing to see here. Move along
    COYI !!
