Fenerbahce Sign Krasic for Cheap As Others Ignored His Quality

Few years back with CSKA Moscow, Milos Krasic was amongst the list of exciting talents. He attracted top European clubs mainly due to his performances in 2009 where he scored 4 goals in the Champions League and helped his side win the Russian Cup. A year later Juventus splashed 15 million to sign the Serbian.
Although Juventus had a torrid 2010-2011 season but Krasic had an impressive one. Arguably he was their player of the season as he scored 7 league goals, two less than the top scorer of the club, provided highest assists (6) and was Juventus’s biggest attacking threat regularly during the season.
That completely changed when new manager Antonio Conte was appointed. After a fantastic first season, he could only warm the bench in the second.  The dynamic winger was not given the opportunities his performances deserved as he only made 4 leauge starts for the Old Lady in 2011-2012 and scored a single goal as well. Conte had his favorites and lead Juventus to the league title without even losing a single match but this does not count out the quality that Krasic possess.

The Serbian Winger scored against both Hertha Berlin and Benfica in summer friendlies; however it was not enough to alter manager’s mind to keep him as he departed for Fenerbahce for a cut price of only 7 million Euros.
What is more surprising is that not many top clubs were eagerly interested in signing Milos Krasic and especially at the mentioned price. It is not that he has been injury prone or a flop but just not given the chance to play at Juventus. The time he did play, he showed the quality of a natural winger with pace, trickery and an eye for goal.
Fenerbahce have already signed Dirk Kuyt from Liverpool for just 1 million and adding Krasic to the ranks further strengthens their squad to compete for the league title.
